In 1974, ABC aired an excellent docudrama about the Cuban Missile Crisis, The Missiles of October. This clip shows the events of October 16, 1962. A young William Devane plays JFK and a young Martin Sheen plays Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy.
The 2000 theatrical movie 13 Days was not nearly as good, as it exaggerated the role of White House aide Kenny O'Donnell (Kevin Costner). This clip, from the beginning of the movie, gets to the point at 9:53.
