Charitable Giving in USA and OECD Countries

Many posts have discussed charity.

 From Gallup:

The Data: Charitable giving is down in 2024 in the U.S. and across many other wealthy economies that make up the Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD).

United States: A majority of Americans (56%) say they have donated money to a charity in the past month, which is down slightly from their level of giving in recent years but still outpaces the OECD median of 39%. Charitable giving in the U.S. has been higher than the OECD average for nearly two decades.

Multiple Line Chart: Charitable giving.
