Party Unity

A new edition of Vital Statistics on Congress is now online.  The section on voting alignments shows that party unity in the House has gone up on both sides.  In some years, average Democratic unity scores exceeded GOP scores; in other years, the reverse was the case.  There has seldom been much difference.
